Are you looking to protect your home or bring a little extra good luck into your life?  Whether its origin lie in feng shui or ancient folklore, these special charms are believed to bring good fortune to the home.

Horseshoe

Horseshoe:  Many cultures believe a horseshoe placed above the door will bring good luck.  Some think it should point upwards so luck doesn't run out, while others think it should point downwards to make fortune "rain" on those who walk under it.  Historians trace the tradition back to Irish legends and tales - some say it wards off the devil while others say it keeps evil fairy folk away. Whatever the case, placing an iron horseshoe above one’s front door is a classic way to protect the home.

Elephant

Elephant:  These large, gentle animals are viewed as wise, loyal, and steadfast, which is part of the reason they're symbols for good luck. Elephants symbolize strength and wisdom, and an elephant with its trunk turned up is considered a sign of good luck. Place a mini figurine in your home or near the front door to protect your home and family.  Some even suggest accessorizing with a throw pillow that depicts an elephant for positive energy and good fortune.
