We are pleased to announce that JAWS International, Ltd, a Division of Canberra Corporation, was named a 2023 Safer Choice Partner of the Year award winner for outstanding achievement in the formulation, manufacturing, and marketing of cleaning products with ingredients that are safer for families, pets, workers, communities, and the environment. JAWS International Ltd. is among the 30 Safer Choice Partner of the Year award winners announced by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 2023.
To qualify for the Safer Choice label, a product must meet EPA’s Safer Choice Standard, which includes stringent human and environmental health criteria. Only the safest possible functional ingredients are allowed in products with the Safer Choice label. The EPA’s Safer Choice label helps consumers and commercial buyers identify and select products with safer chemical ingredients, without sacrificing quality or performance.
Canberra products carrying the EPA Safer Choice Certification include a wide array of formulas under the JAWS, Just Add Water System Brand. JAWS® is a patented, innovative cleaning system designed to reduce the environmental impact of packaging in conventional spray-cleaning products, conserving the resources required to produce and ship them, while trimming end-use plastic disposal. A Founding Principal of the Company is Stop Shipping Water.
